My story
I started studying psychology part-time at university in the UK, migrated to Australia a few years later and went on to complete a BA - Psychology & Counselling.
I have since worked with at-risk adolescents at a CaRE school in various roles including Education Assistant and School Counsellor. This lay a solid foundation in my work as a therapist, given the complex mental health needs within this population.
Sensing a need for change and to further develop my experience as a counsellor, I moved away from the education space and into working with adult clients in private practice in 2022. This in combination with prior work has developed me as a practitioner, resulting in a rich and wide range of experience.
Seeing somebody for therapy is a vulnerable thing to do. I can appreciate that as somebody who has seen my own therapists, and talked about the areas in which I’ve struggled. If you’re somebody who feels nervous about starting, it may help to know that I completely understand that and always prioritise going at each client’s pace.
This brings us to today, where I have opened my own private practice - a goal of mine for a very long time!
I am currently offering individual therapy for adults only.
Thank you for your time!
